Obituary for Donna Marlene Rodgers

Donna Marlene Rodgers entered Heaven’s gates on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the age of 81. The daughter of Ralph Arthur and Mabel Gertrude Mae (Spencer) Wininger, Donna was born on September 27, 1939 in Hawthorne, California. On September 19, 1963, Donna married her one true love, Wesley Lee Rodgers and the two were blessed with three beautiful daughters, Teresa, Karen and Crystal. She dedicated her life to being a loving wife, devoted mother and wonderful homemaker for her family, always meeting their needs and wants before her own. In addition, she worked as a childcare worker and loved those children as though they were her very own. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed reading her Bible, going shopping, and loved inviting company to come over. Donna’s cellphone was her lifeline to everyone. She was never without it and always communicating with the ones blessed to be known and loved by her. The true thrill of her life each day was no doubt spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her family was her LIFE! Her unconditional love, caring and nurturing nature, and vibrant personality were infectious and contagious. She spread love, joy and happiness wherever she went and will be remembered each day living on through each of our hearts.
