Betty Lee Hale, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, entered Heaven’s gates on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the age of 88. Betty was born on November 16, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents, Everett and Ada (Madewell) Wright. Betty married her the love of her life, Billy Ray Hale on December 7, 1953. This union of marriage was blessed with three sons, Monty, Randy and Brian. Betty dedicated her life to providing a warm and loving home for her family. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed many hobbies and activities. Betty loved and served the Lord and others with all of her heart. A longtime member of Mayridge Baptist Church, Betty was often volunteering and teaching Sunday School. She served many years as a cook at Falls Creek Baptist Encampment. She was always filling a need for someone or somewhere that needed service. Betty will be remembered for her servant’s heart, gentle spirit and sassy personality. A loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother, Betty will be deeply missed until the glorious day when her family is reunited with her in Heaven.

Betty was preceded in death by her:
Parents, Everett and Ada Mae (Madewell) Wright
Husband, Bill Hale;
Brothers, Daniel Lackey, Hollis Lackey, and Paul Wright;
Sister, Eta Mae Stewart, Evelyn Schaaf, Elsie Ball, and Dorothy Walker.
