Obituary for Margaret "Marg" Loree Stout Allen

Margaret “Marg” Loree Stout Allen was born June 25, 1930 in Leedey, OK the daughter of Floyd Arlie and Bonnie Rachel (Moore) Malson. She completed this life on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the age of 90 in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Marg was raised in Western Oklahoma where she graduated from Hammon High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Central Oklahoma and her Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. She embarked on a thirty-year career as an English teacher and was an ambassador for higher learning through travel. Marg was an active member of the RNC and was elected alternative delegate to the 2000, 2004, and 2008 RNC Conventions.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Leslie Alan Stout.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Brewer Allen; her daughter-in-law, Glenna Stout-Moore of Del City, OK & her sons Keith Stout & his wife, Sally of Hammon, OK and Loren Stout & his wife, Kelly of Edmond, OK; her grandchildren, Stephanie & Chris Cook, Bryan Stout, Lisa & James Boone, Matthew & Dondi Stout, Lyndsey & Mike Kang, Myranda & Gerardo Matamoros, and Martin Perrin; her great grandchildren, Taylor Haden, Marissa Garcia, Allyson Boone, Blake Boone, Baby 3 Boone, Abrie Stout, Willow Stout, Caleb Kang, and Baby A & Baby B Kang; Her sisters, Helen Whitford of Edmond, Joyce Ivey of Hammon, OK, Jo Ann Jones of OKC and Carolyn Harris of OKC; Her brother, Roy Malson of Elk City, OK. her children by marriage, Ben Allen of Virginia, Mike Allen of Dallas, TX, Lisa Summers of Dallas, Christi Reun of Washington and Suzanne Wion of Houston, TX.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 12th in the chapel of Crossings Community Church, 14600 N. Portland Ave. with interment following in Memorial Park Cemetery. The service will be available to livestream for those who cannot attend due to distance, Covid concerns or any other reasons. The link is:
