He has several nieces and nephews along with several other family and friends who he considered to be family.

In his younger days, he enjoyed going camping and fishing with his girls; he was even a softball coach for Carole. He enjoyed going to the races with his brother Emmitt and even helped build a car that they ran in the races. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching television. He loved to watch the news, Wheel of Fortune, races, and football. If you ever went over to the house on Sunday mornings, you could guarantee the radio would be playing some good ole’ southern country gospel music.

Bob loved when his grandchildren were at the house. He would always stretch his arm out and block them from passing by and say, “If I stretch out a mile, would you come and get me?” The kids would always say something like “always pawpaw Bob”. He loved them and they sure loved him back.
