Obituary for Carrie Annette Jordan

Carrie Annette Mallory Jordan passed away on January 15 after a short battle with lung cancer. Carrie not once complained about the battle she faced, and was positive and courageous to the end. She was born to Albert and Jean Mallory in Oklahoma City on January 29, 1961. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1979. Carrie married in 1980. She started her family 4 years later having her 3 children, son James and twin girls Anna and Rebecca, in only 8 months. She loved her children, family, and friends unconditionally. She had a giving heart and never met a stranger. She enjoyed going to garage sales, thrift stores, collecting antiques, and gathering pecans from her Uncle Bo's yard. Over the years she perfected her handyman skills. She could fix anything including leaky pipes, rewiring a light fixture, and changing the oil in her car. She was also the ultimate stain remover.

Carrie is proceeded in death by her infant son Nathan, and her parents Albert and Jean. Loved ones remaining are son, James and wife Katie; daughter, Anna Jordan; and daughter, Rebecca Cheatwood and husband Chris; her 9 grandchildren Kaleb, Tessa, Jacob, Katelyn, Caden, MacKenzie, Addy, Nicholas, and Chloe; her four sisters Kristi, Kellie, Connie, and DeAnna; her best friends Sophia Ellis and Scott Pershica; and multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. Donations in Carrie's memory can be made to the Shartel Church of God Benevolence Fund to assist her children with final expenses. 11600 S. Western Ave., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73170.
