Obituary

Viewing will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 6934 S Western Ave, OKC, OK 73139. Graveside services to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 3900 SE 29th Street, Del City, Oklahoma.

Norma Jean Colvin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world suddenly on January 16, 2021 at the age of 78.
She was born to Harmon and Wynona Marlar on March 28, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1960.
Norma married the love of her life, Bill, on August 2, 1963. Together, they had two children, Eric and Lisa. She was the proud Nana to her grandson, Brayden.
Norma loved spending time with her family and friends. She could always be found in the kitchen creating delicious meals or at the motorcycle shop greeting and assisting customers. Neighborhood kids and family were always welcome at her home and she cherished them dearly.
Norma was a business owner and belonged to the National Association of Women in Construction. She was a breast cancer survivor and an advocate for education, she loved to learn. Norma was very proud of her only grandson, Brayden. She loved taking care of him and talking with him about his daily adventures.
