Services to honor her life will be 2:00pm Friday at Southwest Baptist Church (1300 SW 54th St. OKC, OK 73119) with burial to follow.
Neva Genevieve Turner was born October 15, 1927 in Slaton, Texas, to Walter and Bessie Harrison. She went to Heaven on February 23, 2021, at the age of 93.Genevieve was raised in Verden, Oklahoma and Chickasha, Oklahoma. She married Wyman Turner on June 2, 1946 and had 2 children-son, Leslie Turner, and daughter, Marilyn Butler – 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.Genevieve received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior on September 13, 1947. She was baptized and joined Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City on March 1, 1970, where her brother, Bert Harrison, pastored for 29 years. She faithfully served as a children’s Sunday school teacher for 38 years and worked as a secretary and on the custodial staff at the church. She also volunteered for 22 years with Sunbeam Family Services assisting the elderly. Genevieve was known for her love for God and her family and friends.

She leaves behind her loving family:
Son, Leslie Turner;
Daughter, Marilyn Turner;
Grandchildren, Cristi Butler, Tanya Butler, Michael Turner, and Melissa Turner;
And 8 great-grandchildren.
