Obituary for Jerilyn "Jeri" Faye Haffner

On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, with her family by her side ,Jerilyn Faye Haffner went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Jeri was born to Nathan Reed and Ida (Blount) Troxell on April 15, 1942 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was one of 9 children,2 sisters and 6 brothers.Jeri’s family relocated to Oklahoma City where she attended Southeast High School.

Jeri married the love of her life Troy January16,1958 celebrating 62 years of marriage.God blessed them with 4 Children, Darren, DeDe,Dana, and Darla. Troy and Jeri loved to sing and were the perfect duet, their harmony was beautiful in song and in their life together.They passed their love for the Lord,music and singing on to their children and grandchildren.

Jeri was a wife, mother ,grandmother and great grandmother who lived her life of faith as an example for her children to follow.Jeri was a homemaker in every sense of the word she was truly a Proverbs 31 woman.Jeri worked alongside her husband Troy establishing T&H Paint and Body ,and with her son at Darrens Paint and Body and in retail with Anthony’s department stores.

Jeri loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his word.She will always be remembered for her love for others, her encouragement to others,her wisdom and strength.Jeri’s hearts desire was for her family to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to share the Gospel with others.

Brother, Ralph Troxell
Sister, Margine Arnold
Great granddaughter, Hope Hilburn.

She is survived by her:
Husband of 62 years, Troy Haffner
Son, Darren Haffner and wife Gina, Daughter DeDe Patton and husband Keith, Daughter, Dana Davis and husband Scott Daughter, Darla Taylor and husband Kelly.
Sister, Carla Huff
Brothers, Coy Troxell, Ronnie Troxell and wife Renee, Doug Troxell and wife Debbie, Kevin Troxell and wife Kathy, Mark Troxell and wife Lisa
