Marilyn Patterson passed away peacefully on Wednesday in Bedford, TX of natural causes at the age of 71. Her sweet smile and cheerful disposition will be missed by all whose lives she touched, which were many.
Marilyn was born in East Hartford, CT and graduated from Classen High School in Oklahoma City. She held a number of positions throughout her career including legal secretary and licensing specialist with the State of Oklahoma. Marilyn is survived by her children John L. Patterson of Fort Worth, Cheryl Helms of Grapevine, and Laura Spencer of Moore and grandchildren, John M. Patterson of Denver, Ray Patterson of Fort Worth, Ashlee Spencer of Moore, Aaron Spencer of Moore, George Patterson of Fort Worth, Allison Spencer of Moore, Sarah DeBaro of Grapevine, and Alec Spencer of Moore. She is also survived by her brother, Barry Newton of Ellington, CT. She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances Newton and her sister, Judith Draper.
