John Michael Percifield, 76, received his Heavenly reward July 8, 2016. He was born December 8, 1939 in Lawton, OK to Ed & Dorothy Percifield. After graduating from U.S. Grant H.S., Mike attended the University of Tulsa before enlisting in the U.S. Army and proudly served during the Vietnam War. In 1961 he married Mary Nell Johnson and they shared 46 years together raising four children. He was a dedicated member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church. Other than church & family, Mike loved fishing, bowling and geocaching. We honor his memory, and he will be eternally missed. Preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Mary Nell Percifield, one brother Ron Percifield and his companion for the past five years, Pat Patton. Mike leaves behind four children, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many other loving family members and dear friends. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Southern Hills Methodist Church, 8200 S Penn.
