Services to celebrate her life will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, Aug 29, 2016 at the South Colonial Chapel.


Joyce, 89, joined Heaven’s angels on Aug 25, 2016. The daughter of James & Tommie (Julian) Wilson, Joyce was born Jan 28, 1927 in Washington, OK. Joyce married her sweetheart, Robert Allen and dedicated her life to providing a warm & loving home for her family. She had a temper but she also had a sense of humor. Joyce had a very strong mind of her own and she was not afraid to tell you what she thought. She loved jewelry and over the years, has collected lots of it. Joyce enjoyed playing bingo with her friends, watching the news (TBN) and all the religious channels. She was a family person and she truly loved her daughter and son. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Allen; son, Bobby Allen and 3 brothers.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Kathy Abbott & husband, Steve of Newcastle, OK; 2 sisters, Anita Stidham of Chickasha, OK and Naomi McClure of New Iberia, LA; 3 grandchildren: Jamie Arnold and wife, Kristin, Darin Arnold and wife, Sunshine, Cody Abbott and wife, Melinda; 11 great grandchildren, Andrew Dougherty and wife Jennifer; Jared Arnold, Zachary Ward and wife Rhema, Mariah Worthen; Addison Dougherty, Zane Arnold, Kerstyn McCarty, Peyton Abbott and Corie Abbott and many other beloved family & friends.
