Condolence From: Eric Thompson
Condolence: So sorry for your loss. Your father was one of the nicest persons I’ve encountered in my life. I remember many hours of basketball in the church gym and boy could he play. Wish you comfort and peace in this time of sorrow.

Condolence: Our prayers and thoughts are with all the family. Uncle Woodrow will always be remembered as a man of a God, that cared deeply and passionately for his Savior, the book of Christ and all those he came in contact with. I will always be grateful for his continual prayers for those he named individually, daily. I was always awed at his memory and his generous ability to lift the spirits of others and provide a sense of peace and comfort to those when needed. He will greatly missed.

Condolence: Bro. Woody was a true friend and a powerful example of a man of God. He had a remarkable memory and would pray for our children and grandchildren by name. He was such a faithful visitor and pray-er during Roger's miracle healing from leukemia. We loved and admired him very much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time.

Condolence From: Darryl Manning
Condolence: Woodrow was associate pastor with my dad, Dorrance Manning, at the Norman First Church in the early 1960’s. They were always good friends. When dad was in the Palliative Care Unit at the VA hospital last May, Woodrow visited while I was there. As Woody would talk about the past he would be reminded of a song and would sing a verse to dad. He sang several and then prayed for dad. In his prayer he prayed for dad’s finances to be taken care of. At the end of the prayer, Woody took out his wallet and gave Dad a $100 bill and said, “I want to help with that.” What a friend. What a testimony to the love of a special human being; Woodrow Stevens.

Condolence: Please accept my condolences for the passing of your dear loved one. When someone we love dies, the heartache and grief can be great. I hope that you can be comforted knowing that God cares for you and sees your pain. (1 Peter 5:7) "He is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort and relief during this grievous time, as you cherish the precious memories of Woodrow.
