Obituary for Cindy K. Cheatwood

Cindy Cheatwood was born on January 13th, 1960 to Jack and Pauline Litteral. She attended Northwest Classen High School. She was an award winning pianist and was active in the Cry-Slurs Choir. In November of 1979 she met her future husband Stephen Cheatwood and they were wed on July 6th, 1981. Together they raised three daughters Jacqueline, Anna, and Sarah.

Cindy had a successful career in real estate, was on the Oklahoma City Board of Realtors and was on the Oklahoma State Board of Realtors. Twice, the State Senate honored her for her work in real estate.

Cindy was very active in the community. She spent much of her time in the Kiwanis club, volunteering and served for many years as the president of the Piedmont Chamber of Commerce. She was inducted into the Piedmont Hall of Fame for her contributions to the community.

Cindy also enjoyed fishing, travelling, singing in church choir, and attending family reunions in Sayre, OK. However, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her beloved husband, their children and especially their grandchildren.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Pauline Litteral. She was survived by her husband Stephen; her brother Joel; her daughters, Jacqueline Black and her husband Evan of Stillwater, OK; Anna Hamilton and husband Coleman of Boulder, CO; Sarah Wormington and her husband Jeremy or Broken Arrow, OK; her sister-in-law Jackie and her husband Neil McLean of Oklahoma City; her sister in law Amber and her husband Scott Mullis of Pottsville, AR; three grandchildren, William, Nicole and Kaylee, as well as many family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on ¬¬¬Saturday June 2nd at Vondel Smith North Colonial Chapel.
