Obituary for Robert Lee Holt
Robert Lee “Bob” Holt, 83 passed away June 3, 2016 surrounded by the family he loved. Born in OKC to Cena Minyard Holt and Benjamin Franklin Holt.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Michael Lee Holt, six siblings Janie Holt White, Richard Patrick Holt, Raymond Burton Holt, Albert Nathan Holt, Ruth Holt Paul, Mary Lisa Holt Korneman and nephew Raymond Burton Holt, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Betty “Lou” Holt, one daughter Linda Holt Osborn and husband Charlie, three grandchildren Amy Smith Maley and husband Mark , Ashley Osborn, Travis Osborn and wife Rebecca and five great grandchildren Jordan Downs, Aidan Maley, Kammi Maley, Devry Bork and Grayson Osborn, one sister Carole Holt Plank and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cpt. Robert L. Holt (ret) United States Army Aviator spent most of his career flying helicopters which he loved and received a full armed services retirement. He then worked at Tinker Air Force Base and retired for a second time with 35 years total Federal Service.
After retirement you could find Bob camping and fishing at Lake Texoma with family and friends or in his work shop at home building furniture, sandboxes, planters and other gifts for everyone he knew. His great sense of humor and quick wit were enjoyed by all.
